Toddler with Toys

Hello.

My mission is to bring family-focused, holistic and fun speech and language services to children in their natural environment. I use evidence-based practice and creative interventions to ensure your child meets their goals in a way that supports generalization and independence. My approach is play-based, collaborative and responsive, tailored to each child's individual needs.

Natural Environment Therapy

Providing therapy in settings that are familiar and comfortable for your child allows me to integrate my intervention into your child's daily routines and activities.

Therapy

I provide individual therapy and I run social communication groups that focus on developing social competencies in a peer-group setting. All treatment plans are written jointly with parents and caregivers to support communication goals through play-based and traditional therapy sessions.

Sinead SLP

Meet your Speech Therapist

Hi, I'm Sinead
CCC-SLP

I have been a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist since 2013 with experience serving adults and pediatrics in the United States, Ireland and Singapore. My clinical experience includes practicing in hospitals, clinics and home-based services. I specialize in holistic approaches that promote integrated learning through play and engagement.  I especially enjoy fun-filled child-led sessions that allow children to think creatively and learn through hands-on experiences.

As a life long learner, I am continuously seeking out the most up-to-date intervention practices and research papers, tuning in to the latest SLP podcasts and scoping out fun new toys to engage my clients in therapy. My training encompases many techniques including DIR Floortime approach and the Social Thinking curriculum. I very much enjoy using these approaches to support social-emotional learning in children.

When not nerding out on all things communication related, you can find me chasing after my kids, baking and spending time with my wonderful husband.

Are you ready to get started?
